Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Lift Kits?

I own an 88 Ramcharger and was wondering how a two inch lift kit looks and how well it works for towing and work. I have 31 in tires at the moment but plan to upgrade to 37’s after the lift. I just want to know what a 2 inch lift kit would like like on an 88 if anyone has done it.
Also I would like to know which suspension lift kits from which brands would be recommended for an 88 Ramcharger?

Is 2 inches of lift going to be enough to clear 37's? Just off the top of my head, I don't think so..... especially not on heavy compression....

AT the moment 31's clear with 4 or 5 inches and I was planning on modifying the tires wells if the 2 inch lift couldn't get the body high enough to clear 37's. Or just not going 37s and just doing 35s or 33s.

Depending on how it's set up then, longer shackles would do it, or re-arched springs. Only going up 2", probably wouldn't have to mess with anything else.
