Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default deisel power wagon

i wanted the power wagon bad but they dident make it in deisel so i dident buy it so im gonna make my 06 2500 ctd in the PW DODGE never built... bigger badder more power then theres.. obviously with the CTD way more power... but anyway the elec sway bar anyoneout there install it on there NON- powerwagon????? how good does it work?? lretail price is almost 900 dollars for just the swaybar itself.. being that the VW dealership i work at also owns a dodge dealership i can get it at cost for roughly $600
is it worth the 600 to have an elec sway bar?? or does it not work good??? would it be better to just put the hair pins on the sway bar????? make then disconnect manually???? does the elec sway bar allow for all the articulation the axle can have or does it not allow for full articulation???

Personally, I would worry about the sway bar last. Look into lockers and winch first. I haven't disconnected the sway bar yet, then again, I don't rock crawl. I have used the winch, not for recovery but for utility purposes. I have used the lockers and then didn't need the winch to recover. Just my opinion.

just put the hair pins on the sway bar
That is probably a better option, at least for starters.

Not sure but I think there is a clearance problem between the factory winch and the intercooler on the deisel. Mopar does not offer the winch kit for the deisel.

All I can say is that the disconnecting front stabilizer bar is awesome! It works great! It makes such a drastic improvement.

I HAVE taken my Power Wagon through some extreme, for a full size truck, off-roading trails. I took a friend of mine with me once and he was amazed at how easilythis huge of a truck made it through some spots.

Hey man...finding all PW guys and asking the same question....do you ever feel like you wish you had more TQ down low in the Hemi? Or does it motivate the 2500 PW just fine?

Yes, I do wish it had more torque, and horsepower, down low. It's too bad that the V-10 in the Heavy Duty (2500/3500) trucks was discontinued. I would have taken the 488 c.i. over the 345 c.i.

Yeah, that would have been pretty sweet in the PW.

My PW moves along just fine for a big truck, although I would love for it to be quicker on the street.
You can never have too much power!

There is hope...ProCharger now makes a supercharger for the Hemi.
Unfortunately it is probably costly, and I'll bet the Power Wagon winch will interfere with the intercooler...I don't know any details.

There are a couple options in S/Cs for the Hemi... gsmotorsports.com is an old friend of mine in SoCal...again as you said however, don't know about fitment with the winch...but it can be customized.
