Ok so i scored a 01 5.9 360 with over 200k on it but it was a wrecked truck and the guy said it ran good ! I am gonna do all new gaskets except head gaskets and new timing chain kit ! I am gonna use my intake with plate ! Am i missing anything ?
You may want to take a close look at everything in a 200K motor. This is from a motor with 190K according to what i was told. Note the lobes especially the last one!
Yea i got my old 360 to rebuild but was just needing a cheaper way to keep my truck running right now since this 318 has a rod knock ! I gave $200 for it !
