Yea, And no bad cell phone pics! I would like to see one side left with the oem and the other with the led's for a good comparison. Hard to see the differences when taken with both at different times. Can't really compare led to halogen, Two different color spectrum's (kelvin) even with the same output.
Best setup is an HID projector retrofit. Not too difficult to do yourself a high quality set can be had for $400 or less, no blinding of other drivers thx to sharp cutoff line, light where you need it, intensity where you need it, and even offers another aspect to set your truck off from the rest.
Pics below:
-Comparison of PlugNPlay HIDs in standard housings vs the retrofit, btw LEDs will look the same as those PnPs
-custom set a buddy of mine built
-coworkers Chevy that he built a set in
-green truck is my personal truck around last January, I've changed it up a bit since but same idea
-white truck is another guy's, built those lights for him
I'd also like to note that I've had those same SuperBrightLEDS bulbs and compared to now they might as well be stock. I also don't have a stupid obnoxious glare anymore and no more getting brighted or pulled over.
The SBL bulbs are rated at 3200lumens on high, not 6600. The 6600 is the temp color range. My HIDs are 6500k (kelvin, it's the color scale posted above) but being 50w instead of the standard 35w they come out to being more like a 5-5300k thx to the increased power.
I do like the retrofit idea. Why is it whenever I look, they only have retro fits for single bulb headlights? Since mine is a sport and has dual headlights should I just retrofit a set of dual bulb headlights? Or order single bulb headlights and retrofit those? My buddy does a lot of jeep retrofits so he said he'd help me out with mine.
Single. Nothing fits the high beam socket. Or do a dual with 1 projector and am LED high beam. Honestly though, i can't remember the last time i used my high beams.
Building yourself really isn't all that hard and seeing as you have a buddy willing to help, yall could have it done in a day

Next question then. Which kit do I get? And where'd the best place to purchase? Retrofit source is what my buddy uses.
Since I have the sport headlights I know I need to have a conversion harness to consolidate it into one plug as a standard ram would have. So after it is consolidated into 1 plug, it would be a 9004 male right? Then when I order a relay harness for the ballasts I should order one for a 9004 plug. I think.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm hoping to order the parts this weekend since they are 15% off and free shipping. I'm thinking ill order the plugs I need to consolidate the wiring and solder it up myself since all the conversion wiring I see looks cheap.
