Is this what you refer to? You think these are as good as the original fsm?

That's the original FSM; Bishko did the printing for Chrysler Corp, and has the original preprint files and everything.

So "as good as"? Yep. May be better; there were some minor revisions through the year, and the latest pressing/printing should have all of them.

We been tinkering with the truck. it seems to be running. At one time it was idling smoothly and the idle speed, after turning the distributor a smidgen, seems normal. BUT, the truck died and wouldn't immediately start back up, but started after it sat 10 mins or so. After doing this dying thing a few times, it ran for quite i long time without dying....so i don't know. Could it be that the ECM is recalibrating itself to the new Idle speed control part?

entirely possible. But, once it gets a stable idle, it should keep it...... it shouldn't just drop off, and quit. Find out why it won't immediately restart, check spark, and that you have good fuel pressure.

If i recall i think there is an adjustment on the idle control motor if it's the same as the 318/360.

If it's TBI, you will probably have to make an adapter for the gauge.
