So , my 99 ram 1500 5.9 park lights and license plate light quit working. I thought it was caused by an aftermarket radio but now believe it was the headlight switch. First the lights quit working but the in cab fuse wasn't blown. It wasn't until I replaced the headlight switch and went back to check the fuse that I found then the #1 fuse was blown. Once replace the lights started working. I did disconnect the aftermarket radio just in case I wired it wrong to the pigtail. The cluster illumination which went out is still needs to be checked but it is hopeful now.

Cluster Illumination is its own fuse, #9 i believe?
