Default 98 Dodge Durango 4x4 5.2 Magnum

I have a '98 Dodge Durango 52 I put a engine compartment harness in my truck from the junkyard engine light has been on and shoots a code... (torque converter- solenoid circuit electrical) damn truck will not shift out a second gear I took an OBD2 code reader wiped out the codes the truck will drive in 4th gear (overdrive) as long as I use the OBD2 code reader to wipe out the code I can drive the truck I have a question,, if I disconnect the 8-pin connector to the PCM that goes to the transmission, will I still be able to drive the truck?? before I changed the harness it shifted fine.. I believe it's electrical,, does anyone have an opinion?? please help

What year did the harness come out of and why did you replace it?

If you disconnect the 8 pin connector, you will have to shift your trans manually. There won't be any automatic function, and you also won't have TCC, or O/D.

You probably have the wrong harness.....
