Default AC blend door(s) - Issue with DEF/REG/FLR 2002 Ram Van 1500

Hi all...

Here is something strange. After my intake repair my AC blend door(s) will not open for register use. Only defrost and floor work - and they work well. Also hot/cold is fine too. I had a slight issue with it before my repair...sometimes and only sometimes I had to let the gas off and then the door would flip to the dash vents (registers). I check the vacuum lines and replaced a couple of others too. Again everything works right except for dash vents...

I need to dig into this, but does anyone have any ideas? Is the actuator do all three settings? I dont have my service manual handy...it is actually over two hours away...

Thanks all.

Actuator is only for the blend door, that controls temp. The rest I think are vacuum operated. Probably the source vacuum line to the control head got broke, or isn't connected.. The plastic lines get brittle with age, and break very easily....

In this image you posted in your other thread. That looks like the HVAC vacuum hose that is supposed to connect to the passenger side of the intake. Did you eventually connect it?
