Default CCV Delete

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking into doing a CCV delete and came across a video from the Powerstroke Help guy on YouTube. He mentioned that installing a ccv delete system with filter could eventually ruin the turbo seals.
Is there any truth to that, or has anyone here run one long term without issues? Curious to hear some real-world experiences before I decide which route to go.

I don't see the point really. Just keeping up with maintenance on the system is more often than not, adequate to the task. Maybe install a catch can to reduce oil in the system?

Not sure what engine you're dealing with but a CCV delete serves no purpose, probably leak more oil, assuming a Cummins, its a trouble free system that just helps capture extra oil in the ventilation vapors, and it helps separate it. Change the filter as required (50k maybe?) and it'll be fine the way it is. Just pull the hose off the intake tube and drop it on the ground so you're not forcing those oily vapors back through the engine. Cap the port on the turbo pipe so you don't suck dirty air, I think alot of the people confuse this setup as a "CCV" delete
