hey everybody
i just moved in at OSU Olkmugee!
i was just wondering if there are anybody else
in this area or attending the same school???
i am trying to make some friends since i dont
know my way around this area
im from kansas city
im in the CAP program

I attend OSU, but in Stillwater... guess I can't help ya much!

 

There has to be more people on here.
There are too many dodge trucks that have a lot done
to them on campus.
There has to be someone else here.

Hey Jesse I graduated from OSU's technical branch at Okmulgee many years ago (finished up my BS in Durant). Now I'm in the Dallas area, if you have to chance to come south just holler.

BTW... showing my ignorance here, what’s the CAP program?

 

the CAP program is
Chrysler Automotive Program
where i am taught on only chrysler vehicles
nothing else and i intern with a dealer every 8 weeks
im done in two years and i get 2 weeks off in june and holidays off but other
than that i go year round
but i got a good job once i get out of the program
i will be a master technician when i get done and be
ASE certified in everything

Your stared something good there in Okmulgee, as you said there's a job waiting once your done which is way cool.

I remember the trimester's and burning the midnight oil. You go there to learn... year round... and leave ready to hit the ground running at work. It's worth every minute of your time.

Next time I drive up to Broken Arrow, visiting family, I'll holler at ya. I also have friends in Gleenpool just up the road on the B liine. When you have time learn some inside tricks for me on the 06 Charger w/5.7.

 

i know a lot about them already from working at the dealership over the summer...just let me know what you need help with and ill see to it

Just saw your sig, you’re from KS. I lived in the big metroplex of Ponca City OK for 25 years. We use to drive over the boarder into KS to get "good" beer back when OK only had 3.2. Had a GF in Olathe for a while. Kansas City KS and it’s suburbs are great.

 

Haha I'm in the NGC program. But yea OSU-Okmulgee is boring as hell.

 

Yes it wasn't themost exciting place to be but it was an education. Just scoot up the B-line to Tulsa or down here to Dallas for a little more excitement.
