Not the only one...but there are a damn few posting on this forum.....
On another topic....it didnt snow 2 inches last night and we can have some form of normalcy instead of that fiasco from the other day.
Originally from Colorado and still having a tough time seeing everyone freak out and drive into ditches out here every time it snows an inch or two.
Have a good weekend!

Hey guys. You're not they only ones in NC. I live close to you torque. I'm in Garner, just south of Raleigh a couple minutes. I frequently Mtn. bike out at Umstead park and Lake Crabtree area.
Either of you thinking about going to "MoPars at the Rock" April 16th? I'm probably going, but not sure if I'm going to run my car in street.

I am from Raleigh.
About the "fiasco" I have lived here for 25 years and that is the only time I have seen anything like that. People drove better in blizzards we had years ago. I think it was a combination of lousy forcasting, the DOT believing the forcast and not preparing, a solid sheet of ice, and moronic drivers coming together into a sort of "Perfect Storm".
I did not even bother to leave the house. It was a demolition derby on the hill that goes by my house.
I counted 2 wrecked Ford trucks among others and the a dodge truck was towing people up the hill and one was scraping the ice off the road with scraper on the front. It was funny watching the Ram tow a pitiful ford F150 up the street [sm=roll.gif]

That was insane. I was at work and just decided to ride it out. People just freaked out like I've never seen. Made me think of something out of the movie Armegedon. A girl here at work said it took her 12 hrs to go from downtown Raleigh to Franklinton. What a trip.
Do you have any interest in going to Rockingham in April?
