Hey all.
A little about myself.
I'm disabled due to my screwed up back and neck so i sit home a lot, i can walk but i use a cane. I'm 35, I have a Brand New `05 Dakota that i've had for about a month now and it still only has about 225 miles on it and I'm Bored. I mostly drive it up to blockbusters and back a lot but i want something new to do. I moved here from Detroit in `86 and theres nothing here like there is in Detroit. I miss the Autorama and Car/Truck Shows everwhere, is there anything like this in our area's?

I've been here for a long time now and I can't remember seeing anything as far as a car and truck show unless i want to drive to Tampa 2.25 hours away which i'd probably would do if someone was interested in going, my Wife just isnt in to understanding the whole performance thing if you know what i mean. I'd like to try and meet some new friends around town, someone that we can kick back talking truck **** and dreaming of things that can be done with our trucks. I'm married with no kids and 2 dogs, The wife and i play Texas Hold`em with our neighbors almost every saturday night it's just I'm tried of sitting home all the time looking at truck magazines & catalogs and i want to get out and do something once in a while.

Well,... anyway i think its time to run up to Blockbusters again. Catch ya's later.

There are cars show all the time. Mostly off of Cleveland Ave. I'll keep you posted...... Do you go to Fort Myers Beach (Estero Island) at all?

I Graduated from Estero High in `88 near San Carlos Park. we were the 1st class of the new school.
Ft Myers Beach lol. yup i've been there. You say theres some show around the Estero Island area?
It's been a while since i've been down Bonita Beach Rd tho.

If Fort Myers doesn't have enough car shows. Your always have 4 options. Tampa (2 hours), Orlando (2 1/2 hours), Daytona (3 hours), Miami (2 1/2 hours) LMAO! Atleast we are in the middle, right!

I'll keep you posted on the car shows. Usually around Highway 41 (Cleveland Ave.) near Edison Mall. Most are at the Harley Davidson. All that clear parking lot.

Hello im from florida not far from ft. meyers theres a car show every friday called towers. . . nice dodge cars and trucks out there. . . and then after that we go out to us 27 right were i live and race

 

are you talking the bell towers shopping mall?
if so i think i've seen some cars up there at times but was always on my way somewhere else when i was driving by thats cool to know tho.

How far of a drive is it out to your location? i'm not sure where 27 is without looking at a map.

 

No its called tower shoppes. . . Cars have been going out there since the 70's from what i heard. . . Theres cops and music drinks everything. . . Nice amount of cars too. . . um. . . lets see its about 20 minutes its all highway. . . do you know where University drive is? Man i suck at directions
