Default Suspension lift plus leveling kit

I have been wanting an 8 inch lift for my 2007 dodge 1500 4x4, but unfortunately I can't find one. I thought it would be okay to mix a 6 inch suspension lift (which I have found) with a 2 or 2 1/2 inch leveling kit. I sent emails to a lot of lift manufacturers and they said that they don't recommend mixing leveling kits with lift kits. Would this really create a problem and if so, why?

Thanks

it shouldn't as long as your leveling kit and lift kit are different parts and not just the same kind of thing. like springs and spacers instead of both lifts having spacers.

I would be worried about highway vibrations resulting from mixing the different products.

If it's spring's and spacer's it will not be a problem if it's spacer's and spacer's it will be a problem

It will be a problem period. Once you go above 6" of lift, you start running in to driveline problems. Without a specialised 8" lift like "Rize Industries" for example, you will have nothing but problems and vibrations. Then also the risk of damaging the tranny, u-joints, ect.
There is a good reason why you can't find many 8" lifts for your truck!!!
