I've got a 97 sport, reg cab, 2wd

What would happen if I put in the Fabtech 3" lift springs without the Fabtech shocks or control arms that are made for the lift kit?

If the above is just not gonna work, can I do that with the 2" springs?

If I put the add-a-leafs in the rear do I need new shocks back there?

I want to lift for nothing but cosmetics, thanks.

Please don't waste your time telling me it's pointless to lift for on-road driving only, I want to lift for nothing but cosmetics. Just a simple yes/no will work... Thanks
