Want to Buy: Need short bed for second gen
I do not want to sound disrespectful .... living in a rust belt area, hard to imagine finding good body parts for older vehicles.
I have never lived in this situation before .... I can not say I feel your pain.
If I wanted to keep the vehicle alive, I would build my own flat bed for it.
I live in the South, there are rust free options here .... wise thing would be to pay transport for a complete non running truck and install your drive train.
A single bed at shipping cost to be installed on a rusty truck is not practical.
More Ideal is to just fly down and purchase the truck you want and drive it home .... living in the rust belt sucks.
I swear it is a conflict of auto manufacturers spending $$ to politicians to demand salt being used on roads to destroy vehicles so the consumer is forced to just keep replacing.
There has to be a better option available in 2025 then salt to rust vehicles.
