Yeah that's what I did, and the lower area of the side of the truck too.

 

i like how you covered up your license plate. didnt want anyone of us trying to find you or report anything illegal youve done that you told DF

 

What's the point of doing the outside of the tailgate?

 

It was messed up and dented so I had them do it to make it look better, other than that it will never have to be repainted.

 

yeah, i like the rockers looking like that but the back of the tailgate, seems kind of out of place to me. you might as well linex the whole truck then. i think i actually some old tacoma which someone had it entirely covered with bedliner. it didnt look bad because i knew the truck was supposed to be a good ole work truck for going mudding in

 

Yea it would have looked better with a line-x bumper, but I could get the chrome much cheaper so it is what it is.

 

so wait, you already had a black bumper? i would have just left it on then instead of getting chrome unless it was totaled. just be sure to get some more black accesories like dark window tint so the tailgate doesnt stand out too much

 

Yea the old bumper was screwed up along with the whole passenger side of the truck when I bought it. I just finished fixing it all up about a week ago.
