Default HID Lights and lift pump

I have a 2001 dodge 2500 turbo diesel. I am asking anyone what their opinion is on HID head lights for the single dual filament lights on my truck? Has anyone done the lighting upgrade to include using dual lights High Low (4 lights total like the sport) or has ayone found a good solultion to dark headlights?
Also what brand of lift pump upgrades is the best, anyone have better luck than others? Is it better to add an aftermarket lift pump to the existing one or just junk it even if it is working and go to an aftermarket?

Thanks

As far as the headlights go they sell Bi-Xenon lights which do both high and low beams.

I am not sure what bulb size you have, but HID Extra has awesome lights and they currently on sale for $60.

to be honest, i have 55watt 12k HID bulbs in my truck, not high low, just low and they are plenty plenty bright enough, i have a 96 2500 diesel and my dad has the exaqct same bulbs as i do on his 02 2500 diesel. they are extremely bright and have absolutely no problem seeing anything. hit me up if you have any quest.

You really dont need to pay extra for the bi-xenon bulbs, TRUST me. Other drivers will flash their high beams at you all day long with just the low beam. They are SO bright. Go with 8000k, nice cool blue tint. The super white are more obnoxious to others in my opinon

agreed ^ the low beams are deff enough, you wont need highs for really anything. as for the 8k. it depends on the company who makes the hid's for what color you want them, i wanted mine blue blue, but my 12k arnt that blue, there nice but not as blue as i wanted, they have a good blue hint to them, just do some research and you will find what you want.

12k should be pretty blue, I guess they're arent any real manufacturing tolerances on these lights though. My 8k have a blueish tint while my buddies 6k and a very bright white

Thanks for all the posts. I lilke the HID no matter what color they are but my problem is I don't want them for the low beams. I know they are super obnoxious bright and I don't want to blind on coming drivers. I want the obnoxious bright when there is no one else on the road. I am looking into if anyone has hooked them up to the high beam function only, keeping the stock low beam for on coming traffic.

Thank you all for your return replys.

to be honest. you know it takes a couple seconds for them to warm up right? so going on and off probably wouldnt help much unless you keep them on for quite awhile. just sayin. :-) and idk how the wear and tear is on them, how well they do with it? but thats just my opinion,
