15" rims on a 2002 1500??
I would like to know if it is possible(with or without spacers) to fit a set of 15" wheels on my 2002 1500 qc 4x4? It currently sits on the factory 17" aluminum wheels and 305/70/17 tires. But I hate these rims! The tire selection is weak and what is available is pricey so I wondered what other size wheel i could change over to to keep the off road look while opening myself up to more tire choices.
20's are nice, just not my thing, I am looking to go smaller on wheel size if anything so that I keep that large off road looking tire sidewall instead of the street low pro look..

If you purchase a rim with proper bolt holes and back spacing the 15'sshould bolt right up you'll just have tocheck the outer diameter of the brakes to ensure clearance... Get the same outer diameter to get proper speed readout on the speedometer
does anybody on here have experiencefitting this model truckwith a 15 or 16" rim ? Did you have any clearance issues, what backspacing did you have to use? Thanks for all the input.
just tried to fit a borrowed 16x10 wheel on the truck and it will not clear without modding the brake calliper so I guess I am stuck with these 17's or moving up to the 20's. Bummer!
I hope these tire manufacturers get their heads out of their rear ends soon and realize how many new vehicles have these 17'son them. It would be nice to have some tires to choose from in various heights without having to give up my son as collateral!!!
