Default 33" to 35" Tires

I'll be installing a 2" front leveling kit and a 2" rear lift kit with Pro Comp ES9000 Series off road shocks on my '05 Ram 1500 4x4 QC. Mycurrent tire sizeis 305/55R20's.

Ishould be able to install 35" x 12" x 20" tires without any problems? You may email me directly at: dkelias@gov.nu.ca or at home derek_elias@qiniq.com

WOW!!!
33" on a stock 1500 w/o any lift? If that's true, i guess 35's would fit with a leveling kit. You shouldn't have to lift the rear though (it is just a leveling kit for the front, you'd just be unleveling the truck again. If 35's clear the front with the truck as high as the back, why lift the back any more?)

I want to safely install 35" tall tires without any problems with suspension travel, etc. That's the reason I'll be installing the rear 2" lift. The front 2" kit willallow me to install the 35" tires.

You have to be careful of the size rim you buy too. A 10 inch wide wheel with a lot of backspacing and little offset could cause the tire to rub the control arm behind the wheel. I would try to stick with a 9 inch wide wheel with about 5 1/2 inches of backspacing and a 12-18 mm offset. I agree that you shouldn't need a rear lift because a 2" leveling kit isn't really changing the main suspension components. You can do it but it's probably overkill. Unless you just like the look.. For a leveling kit do youself a favor and check out the guys at Readylift.com, its a top quality product and they know more about tire and wheel fitment than any $10 dollar an hour phone operator at tire rack or any other .com wheel wholesaler.

I installed the front kit and rear lift now. Truck looks awesome and the ride is alot better with Pro Comp shocks. The front actually went up about 4" and the rear went up 3", so she's sitting level. I can actually install 35" x 12" x 20" tires now which I'll be doing year

I'll post pictures later.

She's also accessorized with Arctic Cat truck accessories like front hood shield, side window air vents, windshield decal.

Next add ons are: side steps, chrome bed rails and a Magnaflow exhaust system.
