Default stock rims

what is the largest size i can fit on the stock rims of my 2001 sxt dakota?
im not sure what the width is but they are 16's with 255/65's right now. does anybody know if they will fit on the stock rim (going to put a 3" body lift) and is it possible to calibrate my spedo?
thanks

I do not have the OE wheel spec's on that truck, but 265/70-16 should work. That'll cover pretty much any size wheel that your 255/65 is on. Those are one size wider and about 1.7" taller. Speedo would read lower by about 5% with that size. Anyone else got any more info?

thanks for the quick response on that. i was hoping to get close to 32's but finding a tire to fit my oem rim seems almost impossible without having to sell a kidney or two. its definately close enough.
