Default tires and wheels

i have a 2003 quad hemi 5.7 slt. it has the 17' alloy wheels on it.with 265/70/R17's i want to customize it a bit, i would like to get some 20's or 22's aftermarket customs. how much would changing the size of the wheels effect the truck. would i have to go with lower profile tires to supplement the difference in the size of the wheels?

275/55 or 305/45 for 20's. 275/45 or 305/40 22s. This would keep your speedometer and everything accurate. If you get really heavy wheels you may feel a little more sluggish in acceleration and braking due to the rotational inertia. But they put 20s on some of them from the factory, so it should be set up to handle it OK as long as the wheels aren't total boat anchors.
