I have a 06 Ram 1500 Sport with the Chrome Clad 20" wheels (the chrome is actually a plastic covering on the face of the wheel). I had a flat tire and went to the local tire store to have it repaired. When they put the wheel and tire in the tire machine to break the bead the machine cracked the chrome plastic surface on the wheel. My dodge dealer informs me that this trim is not serviced seperatly and a new wheel will cost $744.00. BE CAREFUL WHEN CHANGING TIRES WITH THIS WHEEL!!

 

What does the wheel look like without the chrome clad? Is it just machined finish without the silver paint?
Do you have a picture of it?
