Wheel spacers...
Ok, I would like to get some deep dish wheels on my AWD Magnum but due to the AWD and 40mm offset they are hard to find. I like alot of the RWD wheels but due to the offset of 25mm they are unusable on my car.
Now If I were to make a 15mm spacer to fit with a 25mm offset wheel, would this work? Other than the wheel studs not being long enuff is there anyother problems that I would run into? I am sure with doing some reserch into wheel studs there would be something long enuff to offset this problem, possably...
Yes I work in a machine shop and building the spacers is not a problem. The only other thing I can see being trouble would be the added stress on the bearrings but in my years of 4-wheeling and running wheels and tires 5x larger than what came on the truck I am sure 15mm is not going to make that much diffrance. I just wanted to see if there would be any other things I might be missing before I woere to do this or think abought doing this.
Thanx for any input!

You are considering the right questions: stud length, stress on other components etc. The only problem is that higher offset wheels sit farther in, and lower offset wheels sit farther out. So if you have a 25mm offset wheel, and you put a 15mm spacer on it, you have an effective offset of 10mm. The AWD car needs wheels that are tucked underneath more than the RWD car, so the spacer is the opposite of what you need.
