Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
2008: I purchased this truck roughly 3 years ago with 155,000 kms on it. I use it as my daily driver. It's nothing special in the likeness of some of the sweet Dakotas on here, but it gets the job done in a Dodge-like fashion. Which is good. I've recently had it repainted, the cover on the back is fiberglass with hydraulic lifts, which I had installed about a year ago. New fuel pump/ball joints/tie rods/rack and pinion, all added in the last year. One thing goes, they all decide to go.
UPDATE: (2012) I still have the same Dakota. Has 203,334 kilometers on it and it still runs like a top. Has rust showing through above the rear fenders on both sides. It's mechanically sound and I don't run it as often anymore. Seems to be burning oil, and has a bit of an engine knock. I have a 2006 Ford Five Hundred as a daily driver now, but the old dodge turns heads when she's shined up!
UPDATE (2012): I have SOLD my baby for $3000. Went toward the purchase of my 2007 Ram Hemi.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Clear headlight, euro tails, third breaklighT cover, fiberglass tonneau, led interior lighting.
