Changing Power Steering Fluid

Changing Power Steering Fluid
Ok, I've been freaking searching for the past hour on a solid DIY for changing the PS fluid in my 2004 QC Hemi. I just got it 2 months ago and am in the process of changing out all the fluids. I'm sort of mechanically inclined and I figure the PS change is a cake-walk, but I still need a bit more info before tackling it.
I figure all that needs to be done is remove the PS reservoir cap, remove both PS fluid lines going into cooler, let drain, plug up lines, and add in new PS fluid.
I know I need the ATF+4 but how much? And does the above DIY sound about right?
Thanks so much guys, I'm still a newbie with my Ram, but I really look forward to a long relationship with all of you.
Thanks!
JM

Congrats on your new purchase!
I know there's a process on how to do a drain refill, but here's what I do:
About every other oil change (or when I'm bored or my girlfriend kicks me out of the house) I'll get one of those fluid pumps (I guess you could use a shampoo bottle pump if you rinse it out well enough) and I simply pump all the fluid out of the reservoir, then I top off. This alone is enough to keep my power steering fluid nice and clean. I've done this to all my cars that I've owned, and it seems to be enough to keep the fluid in good shape. Plus it's super easy, takes about 5 minutes, and you don't have to undo anything.

Shops use a 2 qt. running flush, I would by 3 qts, remove and fill the res. Start and turn the wheels full left, right x3 then drain fill res, doing this until 3 qts are gone. this will assure a flushed change, turning wheels will move fluid out of gear box or racnpin. do it all the time on my 02 dodge ram with no problems. Hope this helps
