very low dyno numbers
i have a 2014 dodge charger RT max and my current mod list is E85(Eflex fuel kit). BBK Long tube headers, cold air intake and a perfomance tune by HP tuners and i recently went to get a few dyno pulls to see where my power is at i ran 305 and 304 WHP. Ive researched stock dyno pulls and have seen up to 340 whp, i am basically running less than stock numbers and im so confused as to why. the car does have 165 thousand miles but i dont believe that is the reasoning to why i would be running those low numbers with the mods i have high mileage or not.
This was on a DynoJet. Thank you for the responses.

Figure in 25-30% powertrain loss, (toward the high end if you are AWD) and your numbers look a LOT better. Also, with that high of mileage, think I would be doing a compression test, followed by a cylinder leakdown test, to see what kind of shape the engine is in internally.

Leakdown test tells you what kind of shape your cylinders/valves are in. If there is leakage, the gauges will show how much, and you will be able to HEAR where it is going. Supposedly, up to 25% leakdown is 'acceptable'..... I start thinking about a rebuild at 15%, if I hear it mostly around the rings. Compression test will give you a general idea of cylinder condition. Leakdown will give you DETAILED reading.

Gotta pull the heads to do the cam, right? If your compression numbers are bad, no point tearing it down twice. It'll also tell you if you need to get a valve job on the heads while they are off. (which, given your mileage, really wouldn't hurt anyway.)

I think you should have had a base line dyno run to see where your starting point is. Are you aware of the issues with MDS? https://www.motortrend.com/how-to/ch...i-mds-lifters/
