Likely won't hear back from the OP. Please get some codes for us (either with the key dance (described above), or from a scan tool. It would also be good if we knew what engine your '96 has in it. 2.0, 2.4, 2.5? Mileage would be good to know. Please fill out your profile so we can better help you.
