Its hard to say, if you drop the rear without doing the front than yes, but if you drop the front, your angle should be fine. I rode around for about 6 months with the rear dropped and the front at stock height, and it wore out the rear u-joint, but when i lowered the front two inches, it evened out perfect, no more vibrations.
I just bought back my 1994 Dak after 15 years of being without it. Anyway, I am going to give it a nice street stance using this hanger flip for the rear. I have a question about the 5x5 rubber sheet in the instructions. Is this used to protect the underside of the bed from hitting the hanger / springs? If so, has anyone damaged their bed with this flip?
I plan on doing this to my '95 eventually. Thanks for the write up.
If you get to this before me, please let me know how it goes. I am curious how close the hanger is to the underside of the bed and if this poses any problems. If anyone knows the answer to this, please chime in!
Looked under my truck and mine are pretty rusty I was wondering if I couldn’t use 2nd gen hangers to replace my old ones because the hangers as far as I can look are N/a
Probably have to measure what you have, and then have someone measure theirs for you. 3/4 and 1 ton trucks have three inch wide springs, so, likely will HAVE to come from a half-ton.
