Default Who has 15x8 wheels with 31s?

Tax time is here and i want to get some new shoes for the truck. Im looking at getting this wheel
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crr-3975864p

And run some 31x10.50R15s.

The truck has 3 inch blocks and the backed and cranked torsion bars. Will this wheel work? It has a backspacing of 4.75, or should i go bigger/smaller? I dont want to have any rubbing issues whatsoever.

Here is kind of a blurry picture of the way the truck sits now...

Change of plans.

I decided i am going to go with a set of second gen 16x8 rims with a 265/70R16 tire. (Same as a 31/10.50)

My local junkyard has a set for 50$ a piece. I may or may not take them to work and have em powder coated yet.

Oh and thanks tbuguden!

okay i cranked torsion bar and ran the stock 92 15X6 rims with 32X11.5R15 they touched frame on full turn is about all

i added 2 inch body lift and fit 33X14R15 with 1.5 inch spacers and cranked torsion bar on second gen durango 15X8's remember tho the wheel well width is about 32 inches wide so centered properly 31's have no issue atall with minor adjustment

Man that looks awesome! Ive read that some people have problems getting the center caps on using second gen rims. Did you experience this at all? Im pretty excited that i might just be able to bolt these wheels and tires on and not have a problem.

only issue i had with the 15 inch rim before the spacers was slight rubbing on caliper brake line bolt... little file and was fine, but u are getting 16's so shouldn't be an issue a tall...

the center caps were fine on the 15's as u see in the picture.. before and after the spacers cant see 16's being any different ..

yea that was my truck... i loved it but with gas 1.40/L i couldn't afford it anymore, i sold it off with 137000km's so 80k miles? and bought a Jeep TJ i had purchased it from original owner with all records from original purchase invoice to day of purchase lt alone the paint was still original, i buffed it with 2-4k grit sandpaper then buffed it to get the shine back.. and it did just that , man i miss that truck ohwell i even have a 91 2wd i was gonna solid axle but as always life gets in the way ... and might be rust before i get to it lol

Hell yeah!

I just did a 318 swap in my truck a couple weeks ago. I have a couple small rust issues i need to fix and then i want to get the truck repainted. Ive also been toying with getting a set of mouldings and wheel flares. It really looks sharp on your truck.

yea the wheel moulding/flares are stock , much everything was original on that truck cept for tires/rims and the front bumper with i added a grill guard in the center to protect the winch when i ran over VW's LOL

only real thing i added wa sa steerign stabilizer , and that was cause the tire liked to follow cracks in the road lol

Obviously Im a noob, but can someone please share a little more info on filing / shaving the caliper brake line bolt. I just ordered some Durango 15x8 like in the picture above. Would like to be prepared so I wont run into any hiccups when they arrive. Thanks. Pics are always a plus.

The bolt that attaches the brake line to the caliber sticks out to far and will carve out the rim. Grind the bolt down and test for the rim before you move it or you'll score the rim. Very easy to do. Or you machine the rim out. Your call.
