Default Timken or Moog?

I need to replace the front hub bearings on my 98 Durango. I can get Timken for 96$ or Moog for 99$ on Amazon. I know they are both good parts and will last. But is one better than the other?

My money is on Moog.

Whichever one isn't made in China. Find out.

Timken is made in China. Moog is made in Korea.

I just did a little more looking around. So far I found Moog manufactures bearings in 15 different countries. I have only found 2 for Timken the US and China.

Timken. Ive had multiple Moog parts fail in recent years. They seem to just be a name slapped onto cheap parts anymore.

No, it's about upping your chances of getting better quality. Not that quality doesn't come out of China, but a high degree of crap does too.

Theyre made all over the place these days. Ask the sellers to read where it's made off the box.

For bearings I've always heard timken is the way to go.

Timken over Moog for bearings, IMO. Just installed a set Timken (tapered) on a set of axles...........
