I hope I can make heads or tails from the schematics,electrical isn't my strong suit.
From what I can see the 2 nuts on the back of the alt.are connected together by the ring that houses the diodes,main battery connection included.Meaning it seems all 3 connections are all one in the same.
Hopefully it will work because I've got a business to run next week and can't afford down time,and it will take a week to get another PCM(ECU your choice),besides the 300 bux it'll cost me.

Having troubles with the download,keeps wanting to download over again when I try to open it.

I did check the voltage with the key on(motor off)and all 3 connections on the alt. have 12v on them,the main Batt. connection and both nuts of the fields.
Another post on this thread said one field should have voltage and the other should not.If mine has voltage on all 3 including the main batt. wire,I guess this external regulator mod I'm trying to do is for naught,and can't be done on the gen 3 Rams.
I'm still just guessing here.
