Default Update

While on spring break I decided to get out and enjoy the weather. I was debating on removing the cab to finish the frame and floor resto but I got way lucky!!!! Spent hours cleaning and grinding down the frame rails. Then POR 15 to the rails and heres what I ended up with.

100% original epoxy primer from the factory and not one spec of rust!!!!

Thanks man. It's bitter sweet though. Got ripped off pretty bad when I purchased it. Oh well I guess I need something to do with my time.

This is exactly what I will be doing this summer! How did you like working with the Por 15?

I love the por stuff. It seals anything rusted and or prevents anything from rusting. It cures like glass and only a grinder will take it off including on your hands. It needs to be top coated though. It will turn grey from UVA rays if exposed for long periods of time. when you order it do not be fooled by the semi gloss. There is no such thing. POR dries with a very shiny gloss period. Another of their products I like is called metal mask. Top coated the trans and brake calipers with it. Looks great! One piece of advise. Order the six pack with the small cans once you open Por if you spill any on the can lid you are not getting it open again and it has a short shelf life. One small can, about 3.5 oz will do 2/3 of your frame. It goes incredibly far.
