Torsion Bar Keys lift on 2003 dakota 4x4
has anyone with a 2003 or 2004 4.7 dakota 4x4 used the Torsion Bar Keys
kit from http://www.totalperformanceonline.co...log/X381321/30 for either the 1 in or 2in kit? when it says tires may still be racked is that after the alignment?
i am interested in using the new torque keys but i want to use an add a leaf instead of the shackle or the block. any problems with that?
there is one kit that has 2in blocks and another kit has 2 in shackle's. what are the pros and cons?
i know for the 2in kit it says 2-3 inches. has anyone got 3 inches out of the kit? how is the ride quality?

no i haven't done it yet. it only looks like about an inch of space before it bottoms out if i tighten it... now that i think about it 1 inch probablly gets more than an inch of lift because of the applied pressure. i may just try that first. my truck is already level front to back. i don't know if someone has already done this once before or not.

Yeah I know what you mean they are pretty good if you stay at about a 2in body lift. As for hunting do you get off the beatin path at all? I have had my truck off road many of times and never had a problem with not having enough ground clearance and this is in the mtn's of pa. Of coarse im not to scared about my underside since I have the full skid plate pkg. Even lift keys are not going to get much higher than stock(what I was told) and you dont wanna put too much stress on the torsion bars. Really just leaves a solid axle swap or 3.5in lift(I think thats the smallest). To do either is prob the same price and I hate ifs so I would go the soild axle way.
