Transmission Fluid And Filter Change
Planing on changing the transmission fluid this weekend and would like to know if there is a preferred transmission fluid and filter? Is the OEM filter better then an aftermarket part? Anyone here running synthetic? Is there anything else i should do while i have the pan out?

Adjust the bands... Valvoline or Mobil 1 synthetic ATF+4

talk to master tech about the band adjustment, he is a chrysler certified transmission tech for a dealer, he knows his stuff.
on fluid, use only mopar approved ATF +4, mopar, valvoline, there might be others im not aware of, although i dont think mobile1 is on that list. (if you use so mehting else you could tear up your transmission)
i would just get the filter from the dealer and be done with it.
and remember NEVER EVER EVER put anything besides mopar approved ATF+4 into a chrysler motors transmission unless you want to be replacing it in the not too distant future.

Looks like I'm all set. I found a post by HS for the band adjustment conflict and I'm going to check all-data to be sure. Going with the Oem filter and valvoline synthetic atf +4. Thanks for the heads up on the band adjustment it's been awhile since i messed with an auto. Thanks again fellas.
