Default to vinyl wrap or not to vinyl wrap?

So the paint is fading majorly on my car. It's quite repulsive and has some minor scratches as well. I'm thinking of going the vinyl wrapping route as I probably won't have the car for more than another 2-3 years (approx lifetime on vinyl). The car will be garage kept as of march this year when we move to our new place. Just trying to see if anyone has experience with vinyl wrapping their neon and what the cost was? car is an '03 neon with 104K miles.

I plan to purchase the vinyl myself but am unsure as to how much I would need. any ideas? 100-150 sqft enough?)

any and all feedback on vinyl wrap would be appreciated!

I bought some generic brand wrap.
Even though this idea may end up costing me money if this kind sucks, I figured I would buy the cheap stuff and try it out. For all i know i am going to get pi$$3d off trying to make every thing come out smooth and nice etc...

Though I am just doing a few things in the car.

You could always go the spray paint route.
They make color matching paint,

I've watched about every auto body wrappin vid I could find on you tube, I guess the only way is to just go for it. But not till spring time as my garage heater pretty much sucks either it's too hot or too cold lol

Where is this supposed to go to? If I search for this or just bodywrap.com, I get at-home personal body wraps with mud included, lol.

an exacto knife or razor blade
hair dryer
some sort of adhesive enhancer
measuring tape or string
gloves
plenty of time

degrease soap to wash your car
microfiber clothes

a garage of some sort would be good, being outside you can easily have **** from the air trees, etc landing on ur car

The piece I did came out okay just kay
straighter pieces / squares etc would be much easier to do though

I went by a wrap shop an watched them, these lil dudes are freakin fast! I saw them do a roof in like 3 minutes of a big truck with 1 guy on each corner strechin the vinyl This kid told me since my clear is going bad it's better off wet sanding then puttin on the vinyl... might as well paint the top then since the whole piece gonna need sanding lol O.o
