Wheels and Tires
Who out there is running LT285/75 R16 tires on stock rims? I only ask because I still have the tiny stockwheels and tires(LT245/75 R16s) and would like to go up to LT285/75 R16s.If I could run the 285s without having to buy new wheels, it would sure save some money. The truck is a 1999 Ram 2500 Quad Cab with 8' Bed and a 360. A big truck with tiny tires. Hopefully I can change that.

Ya, those will fit with no issues. Here are some pics of a stock height '99 2500 quad cab 8ft bed with 285/75/16's, no rubbing except on the aftermarket mud flap at almost full lock.

Mopar Crazy, nice truck I like it a lot !
How much did performance, and mpg decrease when going to to those 285's? Im in the same boat but 265's now with 3.55's and a 5.9, I see on here that mpg goes south as well as finding OD with city driving....
Heres what I want to put on mine.....
