Default How do you adjust the headlights up and down?

So I have a 01 Ram 1500 with the stock headlights. It's not the sport model. Anyway, where is the screw to adjust the headlights up and down. One is slightly higher than the other and I want to level them out. I think this happened when I removed the headlight in the past. I just never got around to fixing it as it wasn't all that bad before. I know how to adjust them side to side but for some reason must be overlooking how to adjust them up and down.

I dont think you can, if the housings are like the ones on my wifes truck they are cut and molded to be level, but if the mounts for them are pushed in or cracked it will make them unlevel. the only thing you can do is side to side as far as i know.

Hmm, I may have to fiddle with them again. I wonder how I made it higher. Maybe when I took the lens cover off and resealed it with silicone to keep it from leaking it somehow made it un level. I wonder if I could angle it down with some washers on the top bolt or something.

thats what i was about to suggest is shimming it with some washers, maybe when you put the lense back on you didnt get it completely seated on the housing.

That's what I'm wondering now. I thought I had but maybe I didn't. I'm not sure. I think I'm going to try shimming with some washers.

I had that problem too. Not because of how they were adjust because they have always been like that but just because they suck on these trucks.

I've adjusted mine. There is a tiny screw that you turn to raise and lower the beam path. I can't recall exactly where it is at, but it's there.
