can't get my seatbelts out... what do i do?... i wired everything up for power locks/windows, and it started to do this... so i hooked everything up to stock again, still doing it, tried disconnecting battery, still locked. stumped... any way to Bypass it somehow?.. parents wont let me drive my truck until i get em fixed
Unpug the battery for a little more than 2 minutes if you haven't already. Check the wiring from the seat for loss of power supply or shorts to ground.

tried that, going to a guy i know that is genius with electric stuff like this.. he's gonna wire up power win/locks, and run all wires and what not, and ill get him to look at that too... hopefully he can work his magic... :/
EDIT: ive read on the internet that all it is, is a module sending a signal to the seatbelts, and if they don't get a signal, they lock up.. so in my mind, i think you can hotwire it or something? yes? no?
You mean they wont roll out? There are no electronics inside the roll that I am aware of. There is just a pendulum which could be stuck locking them in place. Take off the plastic cover and have a look inside.
I did. And yes they are electric. Otherwise you wouldnt see if you didn't have your seatbelt on in your dash cluster. And ive read about it. Theres a module under the consOle that sends a signal. If seatbelts don't receive that signal, they lock
The truck might be thinging it was in an accedent and triggerd the seatbelt lock, In past experience with other models if that has happend you will need to replace the control box for the seatbelts. I am NOT sure if this holds true for our trucks.
