Default Overhead Console w/ Trip Computer?

I have a few questions. I want one, I have a 2000 dodge with the alarm (the correct CTM for this) What do I need and anything I need to know before I go yard hunting?

Has anyone done it?

If you already have the correct CTM, then it should be just a matter of grabbing the sensors, and the console itself, and sticking it in there. Chances are good the wiring is already in place.

Several threads about this on here.

I couldn't find a thread that pertained to my truck's configuration, it's why I asked, do you have any thread links I can browse that apply?

Check out some of the others that a search will bring up. Read thru 'em. only difference between those, and yours, is going to be that you need fewer parts. Drop the current console, and verify the wiring harness is there. If it is, all you need are sensors, and the console. Should be plug and play.

I dropped the console, wiring harness is NOT there, but then stroke of luck, I found it looped and stuck up over the steering column attached to the CTM. Strange thing, I didn't think you could get the factory security system without the trip computer.
