Yes the M1 has gotten pretty hard to come by now. You just have to be at the right place at the right time.

Dakota R/T Classifieds. Page on Facebook that they come up on more than ebay or craigslist. Last 6 months I've seen prob 20.
Also you CAN still get the 4bbl carb m1, get the tb adapter and have a machine shop machine injector bungs, and run that. And it only flows 10cfm more without porting so it's really not all that much overkill.

Any idea how much that would cost for injector bungs? You ever seen anybody actually do this?
