Abs issue

Have you taken off the rotors to see if the mechanics inside look ok.? Could something be making one grab when you start to apply the pedal ? Maybe even varnished up, dirty rotors. The drop in the brake pedal after your stopped sounds like an air in the line issue or a leak. I'm throwing darts at this. Don't completely understand how these systems work.

A dragging rear brake makes sense. I just had a lot of restoration work done on the truck and it was sitting for about 3 months. Old(er) things don't like sitting for so long. Will get my guys to check the back brakes. (and yes, HER truck just has rear abs) Will let you know what I find. Thanks

So no issues with the back brakes. Glad I checked though, one of my side axle seals is starting to leak. Made sure there was no fluid on the shoes and checked the adjustment--all is good. Going to talk to the service manager at Dodge and see if he thinks they will be able to figure it out. I know on the older vehicles, getting drive data (input signals to pcm etc...) isn't always easy. General FYI, I see a lot of people with transmission issues--one thing that everyone should know, DON'T drive with the O/D on unless you are on the highway. Towing or heavy loaded--never have the O/D on. It is the weakest gear in the transmission and under conditions where it is shifting in and out of gear a lot--it will burn out.
