Unhappy 4000+ rpm on startup

Ok so I have a 2001 dodge 1500 Laramie with a 5.2l with a manual transmission.
So I had the slave cylinder go bad and throw out bearing went out as well so my
Brother and I replaced all that, got it all back together started the truck it ran fine,
Moved freely and smoothly. Pull it out of the shop and things are going good. But
Once the throttle pedal reached approximately 50% pressed (roughly 2000-2500 Rpms)
The Rpms took off to 4000+. So I immediately turned it off. So at this point I'm thinking
Maybe I messed up the throttle cable but nope. Unplugged all the sensors and nothing changed. Was told that the intake air control valve would cause the problem if the plunger got stuck wide open. So replaced the valve nothing. So I unplugged the battery and didn't change a thing. Tried replacing tps and nothing. Checked codes nothing. Looked for pinched wires and nothing. My next thought is maybe a vacuum line but can't find disconnected. Oh and when the Rpms take off the butterflies don't move at all. I'm at a complete loss here. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Ideas? My next plan is to but a chiltons book And search through everything and hopefully find something. Thanks in advanced!

So someone mentioned to disconnect the fuel pump relay and spray ether around to see if we can find a vacuum leak. If that doesn't work I don't know what to do.

Hard to find a vacuum leak if the engine won't run.

Any work been done on the engine lately? Didn't pinch a harness between engine and trans by any chance?

I've checked and can't find anything. I was think if I spray ether the engine will try to start once I find the vacuum leak if there is one

Is there a process to reset the iac valve? I did replace the old one with the suspicion of it being stuck open.

Just disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes. After you hook it back up, turn the key to On, (not start) count to ten, then start the motor. PCM should figger out the new IAC in pretty short order....

If the engine is idling at 4K rpm, you have a massive vacuum leak somewhere.....
