2003 Durango Rear Window Washer Problem
I have just purchased a 2003 Dodge Durango. I seem to have a somewhat minor but annoying problem. Everytime I start the vehicle, the rear window washer starts squirting fluid for about 20 seconds then stops. This happens everytime I start it. Short of emptying out the resevior, which I assume there is only the one in the engine compartment, I was wondering if there is a fix for this. Thanks for any help for this new Dodge Durango owner.

I wasn't talking about rotating the wiper **** to make the blade move, just to press it to engage the washer. If rotating it does not work to make the wiper run, and pressing it does not work to make the washer squirt, I'd suspect something in the **** on the dash.
Before doing dash work though, I'd pull the rear door panel, pull the plug to the motor assembly, and measure voltages when you operate the dash switch. The motor either doesn't run because it's not getting power, or is getting power and is indeed defective. Figure that out to see what to do next.
