Yeah, i tried again and still got nothing. I emailed my nearest locksmith and he got back to me right away at 10pm which was awesome. He told me that they keys are very specific on mid 2000 dodge trucks so id have to find the right ones. But if i did being in the right ones it will cost 49.99 for the first and 39.99 for any after. I found a few on ebay, 2 for 19.99 but can someone point me in the right direction foe the correct ones?
Thanks

If you can still read the numbers on the back, they will match up with the numbers in the ads.

^^^ That, if you can read the numbers on the back, search Ebay and you'll find tons of matches.

And a message to everyone else: If you only have two working key fobs at the moment, order at least one more from Ebay. You can have the locksmith cut it for you for a few dollars, and you can then program the key fob yourself. Yes, you need two working fobs to be able to program additional fobs. I have four fobs right now, so if I lose or break one, no big deal.

Is the number on the back, on the inside?

It's on the back, outside.
I just looked at mine, and I couldn't tell it was imprinted there.
I had to shine a flashlight on it to actually see it.

They list multiple part numbers on Ebay for each listing, so I would think my number would be good for your truck.
Mine is a Sentry chipped key.

Here is the first listing on Ebay. I'm not actually saying to buy it from this seller.

Hopefully one more stupid question... which one is the number i should be entering, the P/N (is that part number?) Are any of those 2 for around 20 dollars, ones that I could get?

Yes P/N is the part number. I haven't seen 2 for $20, never.

Maybe the non chipped key is cheaper. I've seen cheap key fobs fall apart pretty quickly.
