Default Can I fix my key fob?

Hello! Back on January my key fob decided to quit on me. I opened it up and saw the battery bracket was dislodged from it's original setting. I decided I would try to solder it together and get a new battery. I tried it afterwards and nothing... I've been using truck without locking my doors for the last couple of months. Anyways I decided to open it up again and take a look and well my solder job must've been crappy since the bracket was wobbly inside.
Does it look ok to resolder or am I supposed to get a new one now?

*I've only ever had one key

Also when I ever needed to lock it I would hit the lock button from the inside and close it. And when I unlock the door manually and pull it open the alarm goes off and I would start the truck and the alarm would go off. And it seemed every time I did it that way it would take more and more times for me to start and turn off my truck until the alarm turned off. Is that weird or another issue altogether?

Can we see the underside of the circuit board? My guess would be that something under there is FUBAR but obviously can't say without seeing it.

im thinking you may at best be looking at a new Circut board and a trip to the dealer......

Mine did the same thing. I put the battery holder and battery in place and wrapped the whole thing with electrical tape to hold it all together. Its been working that way for a couple years now.

Or, do what I did and buy 2 fobs off Flea Bay (I think I paid $40 for the two). I took mine to a locksmith to cut the key for $8, then found a re-programmer here in town to flash them for $20. (those are short Canuck dollars, not long Yankee dollars too).

Have been working fine since.

Cold solder joints. Get the iron hotter.

I used Kijiji, and searched for aftermarket remotes.

I re-soldered mine at each leg of the 3 posts, cleaned the whole thing with a rubbing alcohol using a q-tip and it works.
