Question How many miles can you drive with a hemi?

Hey people,

Sorry for my typing mistakes but i'm from Belgium.

My question is "How many random miles can you drive with a 7/2003 Dodge Ram Hemi".
This dodge is for sale for €13500 (ca. $18400) that's a real bargain in Europe. He has been driven 90000 miles.

Does it is the effort to buy him.

I'm a Huge dodge lover but i'm 20 now and it's nevertheless much money.

With Kind Regards (See Yah ),

Frank

If well cared for, it has plenty more miles in it. I would have a trusted mechanic check it out before you buy, so you don't get something that you will just be repairing all the time. Any reputable dealer should agree to let you take it to YOUR mechanic to have it checked out before you buy.

Also, get the equivalent of a Carfax report if they have such a thing over there. It's a history of the vehicle, such as if it has been in any accidents, had a salvage title (if it was once "totaled"), etc.

Welcome to the forums!

Wow Frank, if that is a loaded 4x4 here, it's about a $13,000 truck in american money.

But, if that is a good deal over there, so be it...

If it has been well maintained, you can expect to get a good bit more use out of it. I've seen them up over 150,000 miles on them with the engine utilizing no more than normal maintainence. The transmission and front end components (ball joints, tire rods, etc.) will be another story. The engine will far surpass the rest of the truck on average, though...

chill brother...no one else would have thought of it!

i have to second the carfax thing, probably the most useful tool for buying a used vehicle. a few weeks ago i found out my truck had its egr valve replaced by the previous owner.

No offense meant at all.

Belgian waffles are as authentic as American Chinese food. They were invented in America and solely produced in America with no affiliation to Belgium whatsoever.
