Default Recon Halo LED Projectors or Spyder CCFL Halo LED Projectors?

Plan on getting new headlights for my 2004 Dodge ram 1500. I was going to go with either Recon Led Projector lights or Spyder CCFL Led Projector lights. Has anyone had any experience with either? If so i would like to hear what you think. I Attached pictures of Both Headlights.

Both are fine. Recons are stupid expensive and no better than the Spyders IMO.

You arent going to add HIDs in them are you?

Why not do a true and custom OEM projector retrofit with HIDs?

That sounds good and I plan on replacing mine soon. Do you happen to have a name or link to some good ones? '03 1500 here and definitely not paying an arm and leg for a brand name.

I have the Sypder LED halo ones on my wish list for Christmas so I can't tell you how good (or bad) they are yet. I can tell you that www.coolprojectors.com has them for the cheapest that I have found so far (not checking ebay). The LED halos are $146 and the CCFL halos are at $202.

I have the Spyder version projectors, had them since last winter with no complaints. I would really like to have HID's but really don't think I can build my own retrofit pair. Weed, do you know of any pre-built HID projectors that have the halo rings and LED's?

I have done several custom sets but none are manufactured as a whole headlight. Thats why its called retro fitting.....LOL

If you are serious about a set them PM me as i might can find parts a bit cheaper and we can discuss assembly and such

Recons here. Love 'em. Both are similar, but a little diff color in housing. Recon def expensive.

If you plan on hid conversion at some point than just take weed's advice & do it now. You can send yours out & have 'em all done up for you, painted, hid's,etc.

Ok thank you, good to know. It wouldn't be for a while, maybe near the summer.
