Default ram 1500 steering knuckles

Does anyone know if the knuckles from an SRT 10, '06 will fit the upper and lower control arms of a regular 06-08 1500?

What year are the spindles from? Is yours 2wd? 06 was the last year for the SRT-10 pickup.

Out of curiosity, what benefit would the SRT spindles have?

The spindles are '06.
My curiosity is to have the brake size/power of the SRT for trailer towing. I have a SW '08, 5.7. I have a '06 SRT 10 Dana that is going under it. I am also attempting to make my Gearvendors OD unit work in it. So, 10speed, 4.56 geared, hemi truck would pull like a mule. Has to be able to stop too.

You can bolt the big *** brakes to it (like I have).

Sounds interesting. You never said if you were 2wd or 4wd. Based on the fact that you're throwing the Dana under it, I'll assume 2wd. 2wd 06+ still used the coil spring arrangement like previous years, so you should be good.

Hmm now i'm intrigued haha. So the SRT brakes aren't bolt on? *I feel stupid asking*.

Now part 2.... Do the SRT spindles effect ride height at all?

So you bolted the big calipers on the original spindles?

You need the SRT spindles because the mounting ears are spaced out different. You can use the 04 big 2 psiton sliders or the 05-06 bigger 4 piston fixed calipers. Same size rotor (15"~). The spindles will change your front suspension geometry slightly, you will need an alignment closer to SRT specs, but the handling will improve, especially with SRT reg cab coil springs (2wd only). I don't know if ride height was affected because I put the SRT springs in at the same time, but my front end is right where it's supposed to be.

No, must have the SRT spindles.
