I need some help looking at the fabulous 03 hemi rams ecm/tcm.

im not seeing a Underdrive solenoid on the diagrams does it have one? Does it need one i see the later trucks like 05 have one.

what is the underdrive used for?

what is the l/r pressure switch sensor on the 05 ram harness i dont see it on the 03 either.

can anyone help with this.

So i was able to figure out that theses both are not used for the 03 5.7 ram but if my truck had a 4.7 theses would have been used.

so my next question is are they actually there and my computer just doesnt need them?

i cant believe that they would have made two completely harnesses for the two engines.

4.7 and 5.7 harness are completely different as are the PCM. Even the 03, 04/05 and 06+ PCM for the 5.7 are all different

so i get that they would be different as my truck would be looking for things that it didnt have.

but would that really make two completely different harnesses.

My question is, is all of the wiring there for the 4.7 ecm and the 5.7 ecm just doesnt do anything with it. or is it actually an entirely different harness.

Do you follow what im trying to say?
