Default Clay bar to remove Line-x overspray on my hood.....

I had line-x applied to the bed of my truck about two weeks ago. When I went to pick it up(45 minutes away) I looked the cab and all adjacent areas over for overspray. Everything seemed to look good. So, I took it home and drove it for about a week before we had good enough weather to wash it. When I got done washing it I happened to notice something on my hood. It was line-x overspray! Man, was I jacked! I managed to get a lot of it off with my thumbnail but there is still quit a bit left on the hood. So, I called the dealer that sprayed the bed and told him about it. They did offer to remove it but I would have to take it back to them. That would involve taking a day off of work and driving 45 minutes to have them take it off. He said it would take a couple of hours. Anyway, I told him I didn't want to take a day off of work so he sent me a clay bar kit and said it would take off the over spray. So, after that long story, here is my question....

Have any of you used a clay bar and do you have any pointers on the use?I am really leery of doing this seeings how the truck only has 2000 miles on it. I'm seriously considering taking the truck back to those guys....

Yea, the dealer has been real helpful. He pretty much didn't question it. I thought for sure I would have a battle on my hands. I think it'll all be alright. I just have to put some time and effort into it.

Thanks all for looking and your responses!

Man, that's a bummer. They covered my truck with plastic before they sprayed it.

Yea, it could've been worse tho. I received the clay bar kit on Friday from the dealer. So I took my truck over to my Buddy's heated garage, unpacked the clay bar and the lubricant and nervously proceeded to do as the instructions said. Y'know what? It worked great! It removed that line-x over spray like it was nothing. From what I can tell, the hood looks great(maybe even better than what it did when I got it) and all of the over spray is gone. So, thanks to all of you and for your responses!

I could also use some of that, I've got some overspray in a couple spots I hadn't noticed
when I got the liner sprayed in mine.

The stuff that was sent to me was a NAPA brand claybar. I don't have it here(I am at work). If you guys are interested I can get the name off the package.
